This week's article has a great video webinar to help solve the problem of capturing your customer audience through your applications. Check out the first section on, Why you need Mobile DevOps.

Why You Need Mobile DevOps

Here's something differet and needed, why you need Mobile DevOps. Coming from an agile background this video presentation gives a new prospective on why agile isn't enough. Keith Ballinger gives a great presentation. If don't like listening for a whole 20 minutes, set the speed to x1.5 in YouTube (I do it all the time).

This webinar, Keith (principal group program manager at Xamarin) discusses the following topics:

  • What he learned from his failed startup experience and how you can sidestep common pitfalls to beat your competition
  • How to balance shipping high quality software with speed to market
  • Why agile isn’t enough and how mobile DevOps allows you to release faster
  • How to listen to your users, collect feedback, and prioritize new features to ship better apps
  • How Xamarin Test Cloud and HockeyApp can help any organization get started with mobile DevOps and continuous everything

In this edition of the Xamarin Podcast, Mike James and I discuss identity management in mobile apps. We start by exploring the question, “does my app even need identity?” If it does, we break down the various options available to mobile developers, from local to social to enterprise authentication.
